"After the work you did, it seems like you ought to be able to enjoy the festival. Or at least relax."

Jessica's gaze didn't leave the whirling dancers. "I don't think I remember how to do either."

"I could remind you." Angelo wrapped his arms around her. "Would you like me to try?"

"Please."

Her lips begged to be kissed; he complied. "We'll start with relaxing," he promised, leading her across the carpet of leaves beneath the trees. "Then we'll see about enjoying the festival. Assuming, of course, we have the energy."

Her smile was the only answer he needed.
